Mayor Muungaab Leads High-Level Community Dialogue to Strengthen Security & Accelerate Mogadishu’s Development

The Governor of the Banaadir Regional Administration and Mayor of Mogadishu, Dr. Hassan Mohamed Hussein (Muungaab), chaired a high-level community awareness meeting this evening, focusing on strengthening security and accelerating the development of the Capital. The meeting was held in Warta Nabadda District in the Banaadir Region.

The gathering was attended by senior officials from the Banaadir Regional Administration, including the Deputy Governor for Security and Politics, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Diriye (Yabooh); the Deputy Governor for Public Works, Mr. Abdumajid Dahir Aden; the Secretary General of the Banaadir Regional Administration, Ms. Bilan Bile Mahmoud; Member of Parliament Osman Mohamed Mahmoud (Xaadoole); and other officials at various levels. Community representatives from three districts—Warta Nabadda, Hawlwadaag, and Boondheere—also participated.

The main objective of the meeting was to strengthen cooperation between the public and government institutions to ensure sustainable security and inclusive development.

In their remarks, the officials emphasized the critical role of citizens in maintaining security, encouraging the community to work closely with security agencies and to actively contribute to improving public services, environmental cleanliness, and the overall beautification of the capital.

During the meeting, in-depth discussions were held on solutions to further enhance security and development across the districts of the Banaadir Region. Participants agreed on the importance of raising public awareness and reinforcing governmental collaboration to achieve strategic development goals.
