Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, officially inaugurated the new headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation today, marking another step in the government’s efforts to strengthen public institutions and improve the services they provide to citizens.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Federal Government of Somalia, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, and other distinguished guests.
The Prime Minister commended the Ministry for the progress it has made, noting that the new facility will enhance the quality of its work and improve services related to agricultural development, food security, and support for Somali farmers.
The new headquarters is expected to streamline the Ministry’s operations while reinforcing ongoing efforts to boost agricultural productivity and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
